Peter Kershes Zager Guitar Review Zad50 Series

pck558@comcast.net

I was looking at Martins and Taylors at two and three times the price of the ZAD50OM, but I didn’t want to part with my other babies to get one.  The J45 is a boomer and the Guild has been with me the whole way (and looks like it!).

Anyhow, I have been playing the ZAD 50 for about a week and she is a joy to play (like butta!).  The quality of craftsmanship is First Class and the sound is well balanced and full, especially for an OM sized guitar.

I especially love it for finger picking and recording. Have you ever thought about doing a ZAD50 OM with Herringbone binding and the Abalone rosette?  If so, I’m in.

Zager ZAD 50 Review from William Sharp

Zager ZAD50 really blew me away. This is one of those guitars that you won’t ever want to let go but still plays as good as new. With customized guitar body and finish, it’s absolutely the guitar best fit for everyone.

Features:
Just like other Zager Guitars, the Zager ZAD50 is made out of Solid Spruce top, back and sides is with Rosewood bridge and rosewood fret board. Strings are also 100% genuine “Martin” strings for easier playing.

Action, Fit and Finish:
Glossy in the right way and perfect in every sides of the guitar. Not only its beautiful, it was ready to play the moment I got it out from the box. It doesn’t have a single flaw which made happier in addition with the good sound quality. Very easy to hold and use because the body of the guitar is customized as well. Its obviously inspected by Mr. Zager himself before delivering it.

Sound Quality:
Its superb! Every chord is well sounded. Not a single flaw. Playable the moment I got it. It has this deep full rich sound that you’ll only get on great quality wood and acoustic guitars. It doesn’t have that buzzing ringing sound making it easier for me to play every genre of much I like.

Reliability and Durability:
I have a feeling this guitar and me will be together for a long time. Its well-made and very sturdy. I don’t think it will break down on me for the coming year or until 3 years or so.

Overall Rating:
This guitar was made just for me and for others looking for an easier and better way to play the guitar. Zager ZAD50 is the answer I’ve been looking for. With their “String Science” it’s no wonder that I’m going to buy another guitar made by Zager.

Cathy Banks Zager Zad80 Guitars Review

Model: Zager ZAD80

I received my new ZAD80 about two weeks ago. I absolutely love it! It sounds great. It plays great. It makes me sound like a much better musician than I actually am.

I haven't played for about thirty years and I really appreciate the set up on this guitar No sore fingers! What more could anyone ask for? It sounds just as good (or better) as my friends' Taylor 814ce.

I have never been happier with an instrument.

Thanks.

Benefits of a Custom Made Guitar

With a custom made guitar, you can make it easier for yourself to learn how to play. Many people get custom built guitars because it is easier for them to get used to and they do not have to worry about playing on different guitars. Believe it or not, a custom made guitar makes a lot of difference in how you handle it and ultimately how you play it.
There are many advantages to having custom built guitars. Not only do they make it easier to learn guitar, but they give you the satisfaction of knowing that you have your very own unique guitar to play on. What better way to play guitar than on a custom made guitar.
One thing to take into consideration when looking for custom built guitars is that you should be motivated enough to take it seriously. Custom built Acoustic Guitars are going to be fairly expensive, so before you spend a lot of money on one, make sure that the guitar is something that you really want to do. If you are serious enough, custom built guitars are going to be a great tool for you to learn how to play on. There are so many advantages to them, you can’t ever go wrong with them.

Acoustic Guitar Facts

Music is and has been a huge part of most cultures around the world, and in many types of music the guitar plays an important role in creating and molding the sound and style of the music. Of course different types of guitars are used for different sounds and styles, and one quite common and popular type of guitars used is the acoustic guitars.
Acoustic guitars get their name from the type of amplification that they provide. Unlike electric guitars, acoustic guitars don't need external devices in order to form proper amplification, they are amplified acoustically. But the acoustic amplification provided by the acoustic guitars does not produce a loud sound, so sometimes external devices are used to help amplify the acoustic guitars sound. Acoustic guitars were the only type of guitars until electric guitars were created.
Acoustic guitars generally feature the standard array of six strings, but there are also twelve string acoustic guitars available as well. Custom acoustic guitars sometimes feature fours, eight or ten string depending on the use. Acoustic guitars are made of wood and the type of the wood used in the manufacturing process of the guitar will play a role in the quality of the sound of the guitar. There are some acoustic guitars that are made of materials other than wood, but wood is the most commonly used construction material for acoustic guitars.

There is a wide variety of acoustic guitars makers but choosing the maker is not as important as choosing the materials that are used in construction and the overall sound of the guitar. Price is also an important factor when looking at acoustic guitars, however many of the top manufacturers are known for the quality and affordability of their acoustic guitars. The more expensive acoustic guitars are made of solid wood tops, sides and backs.
